Community Health Programme

SIDUR understands the importance of public health and the felt needs of the people residing in slums and hence community health education is being given utmost weight and a centralized health system has been developed. The programme includes emphasis on general health and hygiene, environmental activities (sanitary).

This programme is reinforced by intensive health education one to one, in small groups, community level and in medical camps when hundreds will be reached in a few days. Referral services and related welfare services are integrated into the programme. It is run by efficient staff working as Counsellors, Para Medicals, and Specialized Doctors who are available in the healthy huts everyday.
