SIDUR started Self Help Groups with the women in all the slums. There are about 600 Self Help Groups consisting of 12,000 women. They save Rs.20 to Rs.50 per month. They take loans among themselves for consumption or business.

SIDUR has given nearly 60 lakhs of rupees as their revolving fund. So far 4000 people who do not even know about entrepreneurship started their own business and now successfully running it. Their economic level had gone up and they are able to educate the children. On an average each group have turnover minimum 2 lakhs to 6 lakhs.
